Our slipway on the Middle Weser in Mehlbergen is sheltered within the basin of the Mehlbergen Marina.
You want to take your own boat out on the Weser, but don't have a permanent mooring? With us, you can easily launch it yourself – without the Weser current, without mud, and with a straight, stable ramp. The facility is suitable for sports boats up to approx. 3.5 tonnes.
Professional slipway in a sheltered harbour basin
Our new slipway has been designed for safe and convenient use. It runs straight and is located within the marina basin. This allows you to launch your boat and haul it back onto the trailer in calmer water.
The slipway is also suitable for larger and heavier sports boats up to 3.5 tonnes suitable. Right next to the ramp is an especially sturdy jetty. One side of the jetty is higher, the other lower. As a result, the facility is not only suitable for traditional sports boats, but also well suited for inflatable boats, smaller boats and canoes.

A complete launching process with insertion and later retrieval thus costs €25.00.
The summer flat rate is particularly suitable for recreational boaters and anglers who want to go onto the Weser regularly during the season. The winter flat rate is used primarily by anglers who regularly slip their boats outside the classic boating season.
Also for external boaters
You do not need to have a berth in the Mehlbergen marina to use our slipway. External motorboat skippers and anglers can also use the launching ramp.
Especially for trailer boat owners from Nienburg, Balge, Marklohe and the Middle Weser region, the marina thus offers a straightforward way to launch their boat.

Can I launch my own boat at the Mehlbergen Marina?
Yes. The slipway can also be used by external boaters and anglers. A berth in the marina is not required for this.
How much does it cost to launch the boat?
A slipway operation costs €12.50. A total of €25 is charged for launching and later retrieving the boat.
Is there a season ticket?
Yes. For 2027, the summer season flat rate costs €100. The winter season flat rate costs €60.
Which boats is the slipway suitable for?
The slipway is suitable for trailer boats and sports boats weighing up to 3.5 tonnes.
Is the slipway directly in the Weser current?
No. The ramp is sheltered in the harbour basin of the Mehlbergen marina and not directly in the current of the Weser.
Can I launch an inflatable boat or canoe there too?
Yes. The access pontoon has a lower side, which makes it easier to get into smaller boats, dinghies and canoes.
