Slipway user guide: To ensure launching runs smoothly and safely even with multiple users, we have summarised the most important steps for our slipway here.
1. Sign in before use
Anyone wishing to use the slipway with a day ticket is asked to contact our harbour master before use.
Users of the summer or winter season flat rate will receive the access code for the combination lock at the slipway.
Open gate fully
Open the combination lock and then fully open the access gate. Only after doing so, drive onto the slipway with the towing vehicle and trailer.
3. Driving straight and parallel in reverse
Drive slowly and straight backwards down the slipway. Make sure that towing vehicle and trailer are in line and keep about that 20 cm clearance from the right-hand kerb.
Maintain this position while reversing so that the trailer goes straight onto the [ramp/slipway] as it enters the water. Iron plate drives.
Drive the trailer into the water in a controlled manner
Continue driving slowly backwards into the water. Keep the trailer and car combination straight and the distance of about 20 cm from the right kerb That way, the trailer is safely guided onto the iron plate lying in the water.
The iron plate is 2.50 m wide and 6.00 m long and establishes the safe driving area for the underwater trailer.

Only reverse far enough for the trailer to remain safely on the iron plate. The iron plate lying in the water is 2.50 m wide and 6.00 m long.
There is a at the jetty Marker, which you can use to see how far the trailer can be reversed.
Particularly important with tandem trailers:
The front axle, facing the towing vehicle, must still be on the iron plate. Do not reverse any further.
6. Move the boat from the mooring pile to the other side of the pontoon
Our dolphin at the end of the access jetty is intentionally designed so that you can use it to secure your boat after launching if needed can easily and safely move over to the other side of the gangway.
Especially if the next boat owner wants to launch or several boats are waiting, you can quickly clear the slipway again and then [your boat] prepare in peace on the other side of the jetty.
Even with smaller or low boats, for example inflatables, the other side of the jetty is practical. Across the additionally attached handgrip on the dolphin can you safely guide the boat around the dolphin by hand. On the other side, the boat can then be easily moored and boarding prepared.
Our goal: Please keep the immediate area of the slipway blocked for as short a time as possible, only as long as you actually need it for launching or hauling. If nobody is waiting and the slipway is free, you are of course welcome to remain moored on the slipway side of the jetty.
7. Park the trailer compactly in the car park
After launching, please park your trailer in the designated car park. The trailer must be uncoupled from the towing vehicle.
Please park the trailer as compactly as possible so that only as much space as is necessary is used. This will ensure that enough parking spaces remain for other trailers, vehicles and standard cars.
Please make sure to keep access roads and driveways clear.

The use of the slipway as well as the parking of vehicles and trailers in the car park is at your own risk at your own risk.

Should it not be possible in exceptional circumstances to launch safely with your own towing vehicle, please speak to us. In justified cases, we can assist with a suitable vehicle for a fee. There is no entitlement to this assistance.
Better to ask once too often – together we'll ensure your boat gets safely into the water and the slipway remains straightforward for everyone to use.
